Yodha is an energetic 10-year-old living in Singapore. He has a pet terrapin named Master Chicken and likes playing video games and games in general. Ultimately, he would like to help people even if it is trying to prevent a small proportion of robberies, one step at a time.

The Project
Plantlarm is an anti-theft system hidden in a synthetic flower. I decided to do this project because in some countries around the world, robberies are quite common. Plantlarm is supposed to be placed in front of your door and the IR sensor will detect if somebody is there. If it senses a person, it will take a photo of the person as well as play a recorded voice. If it does not detect something, it will keep checking if there is someone in front of it. While it is supposed to help prevent robberies, you can use it to scare your friends too!

She likes acting and her CCA is a Drama club, but she also likes basketball and playing with her friends every day. Her favourite colour is yellow as it is a bright colour that represents happiness. She wants to become an actress or a programmer when she grows up. Her motto in life is to keep on trying because only those who don’t give up will reach the end and win.

The Project
Playtok is an app that allows children to interact with
animated animals - either through video calls or to play a
game with them - to have fun and decrease their boredom. The app is mainly targeted at children from ages 2 to 5. There are several characters - Frosty loves science so you can test out chemical substances with him; Chucky loves mathematics so you can practice mathematics with her, and Giga does not love school so she teaches you the importance of play. I hope to customise my project further and create different levels to it and I’m really excited to work on it more. I love coding! I really hope you can have fun with my friends!

The Project
I like to play games especially first-person shooters (FPS) and I would love my dear mother to enjoy what I like too, but the usual FPS’s screen movements cause her to feel dizzy and even have migraines.
This inspired me to create T.R.E.E - a FPS game made for not just my mom, but everyone who gets motion sickness playing the usual FPS. T.R.E.E takes into consideration these factors and alters the usual FPS mechanisms. There is no ADS (aim down sight) mechanism, as the movement and zoom triggered when using ADS is a key cause of dizziness for my mom. The usual side-to-side rotation in an FPS is also disabled by clamping the yaw axis (or vertical axis), to further reduce visual information overload. I hope to develop the game further by making it less laggy, fixing bugs, and expanding on my game. I will come back to VIVITA to continue working on it.
MediMind
Mentors: Erick Kristianto
Dexter is a 14-year-old who believes in living life to the fullest as you do not know what tomorrow might bring. He muses that we are like a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and daydreaming. He firmly believes in the human capacity to be kind and that everyone should be given an opportunity to be loved and cared for, regardless of whatever background they are from.
The Project
MediMind is the first wearable medicine dispenser of its kind in the world. MediMind aims to let each elderly person feel more like an individual, by integrating an already common product in their daily lives - a wristwatch, with a medicine dispenser. This will help them be more independent, giving them a sense of autonomy, empowering them to live life more freely. I would like to develop Medimind to a full-scale project at VIVITA and also explore other wearables. I will work with the resources and amazing mentors and through them, I hope to continue developing my ideas.
